Forecast: Tropical system to affect the gulf & north QLD coast then later on potentially the rest of QLD coast including SEQ

A tropical low is currently in the gulf of Carpentaria which is likely to cross the cape & start to strengthen off Queensland’s east coast during the next week or two. It is uncertain where this tropical system will end up at this point but the tropical system looks like it will be quite erratic potentially even crossing the coast in southeast Queensland as a tropical cyclone which is a situation currently modelled by one of the top computer weather models.
